Joydens Riding Club was set up in 1953 and was an  affiliated riding club from 1956 to early 2016.

The club is at present an Independant riding club with a strong committee and over 50 members .

It was one of the oldest riding clubs in the UK. set up from local riders in the Bexley and Dartford borders and is 60yrs old this year.

It has been a very successful club with many championship wins to it name.

It has a particularly strong junior section. The juniors  won the National Showjumping final two years running in 1994 and 1995, and have been in the top six many years over the years since.

The riding club does not have a base of its own, preferring instead to encourage its enthusiastic committee members to use facilities in and around the riding community, thereby enhancing communication and         co-operation from riders and many equestrian businesses.

Many shows and events are held throughout the year from indoor showjumping to dressage. There is a good social section for every member and their families.

Membership is open to all enthusiastic 'horsey' people, even if you do not own a horse or pony.
